Biblical Prayers for the Saints

Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the now from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Deuteronomy 11:13-14 Pray that the saints would hearken diligently to the Lord so that He can give us the rain, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. (Apply spiritually)

Joel 2:13, 23-25 Pray that the saints would rend their hearts and not their garments and that God would restore what the canker worm and other crop destroyers has eaten away.

Zephaniah 3:7 Pray that the saints would fear God and receive instruction so their dwelling should not be cut off.

Matthew 6:33 Pray that the saints would seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Matthew 7:26-27 Pray that the saints would obey the teachings of Jesus so that their house would be built upon the rock.

Mark 4:24 Pray that the saints would take heed what they hear and that they would spend much time learning the truth.

Mark 12:30 Pray that the saints would love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind and body.

Luke 1:17 Pray that God would make ready a people prepared for Him.

Luke 21.36 Pray for the saints that they may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Luke 22:32 Pray for the saints that their faith would fail not.

Luke 24 Pray that God would open Christian’s understanding that they might understand all the scripture.

John 8:31 Pray that the saints would continue in Jesus’ word and would know the truth and the truth would set them free.

John 15:4 Pray that the saints will abide in the vine and bear much good fruit.

Romans 8:29 Pray that the saints would be conformed into the image of Jesus.

Romans 13:14 Pray that the saints would put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh. (carnal nature)

I Corinthians 10:31 Pray that the saints would do all for the glory of God.

II Corinthians 1:10,11 Pray that the saints would be delivered from the enemies of the cross.

II Corinthians 5:15 Pray that the saints would not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again.

II Corinthians 10:4-5 Pray that the saints would use the weapons of our warfare and tear down every stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every vain imagination.

II Corinthians 13:9 Pray for the saints perfection. (all around strengthening and perfecting of souls- Amp.V.)

Galatians 4:19 Pray that the saints would travail in birth again until Christ be formed in the new Christians.

Ephesians 1:17-20 Pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto the saints the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of their understanding being en-lightened; that they might know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, . . .

Ephesians 3:17-19 Pray that Christ may dwell in the saints’ hearts by faith; that they, being rooted and grounded in love,may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that they might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 4:1 Pray that the saints would walk worthy of the vocation to which they were called.

Ephesians 4:15 Pray for the saints that they would speak the truth in love, and therefore grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Ephesians 6:11 Pray that the saints would put on the full armour of God and stand in the evil day. And having done all to stand.

Ephesians 6:19 Pray that the saints would have boldness to utter God’s word and that doors of utterance would be opened for them.

Colossians 4:12 Pray for the saints that they would stand perfect in all of the will of God.

III John 2 Pray for the saints that they would prosper and be in health, even as their soul prospers

Revelation 3:15-16 Pray that the saints would be hot for the Lord and not lukewarm.
