SEXUAL INSANITY

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

With the above scriptures I would like to start this week’s input on this webpage and as the topic of this writing indicates, I believe a definition of the words is very important for to lay a foundation for what I am writing about.
SEX: is Physical contact between individuals involving sexual stimulation of the genitals, sexual intercourse (oxford dictionary).
SEXUAL INTERCOURSE: IS sex involving penetration; an act carried out for reproduction or pleasure involving penetration, especially one in which a man inserts his erect penis into a woman's vagina. (Encarta dictionary)
INSANITY: lack of reason or good sense: extreme foolishness, or an act that demonstrates such foolishness. (Encarta dictionary)
In my own definition as the writer of this article and also a clergy man, I will say sex is the most intimate union between a man and a woman physically, which is in agreement with the dictionary definition.
SEX from a biblical standpoint was made by God for the purposes of, 1.Procreation: as stated in Genesis in the first chapter that through sex and sexual intercourse man may multiply and fill the whole earth, 2. Mutual pleasure and fulfillment: where the man and the woman come into a perfect union as intended by God. And from God’s intended purpose, sex is an act carried out only within the boundaries of marriage where the both parties have come to the age of consent and agreement before God and man.
But what do we have in the world today, especially within the Christian community, because we are supposed to show the way by being the light of the world and the salt of the earth, what we have is what I call SEXUAL INSANITY and it is a problem that is growing at an unbelievably fast rate. The purpose of this ministry is to minister freedom to those that are held bound by this problem of sexual slavery, but how can a drug be administered when diagnosis of the disease is not carried out, so this is coming as a diagnosis of the problem we have before us, to make us know the extent of the problem, then we will appreciate the freedom that will be granted. Until you have been a prisoner you will not appreciate freedom.
Apostle Paul with the scripture above outlined the works of the flesh like envy,strife,jealousy the same ministry that ministers freedom from sex and it various forms of addiction also deals with the others listed because they are all works of the flesh, but because sins of the sexual nature are the most dangerous, affecting both the inside and outside of a man, I believe the Lord is using this ministry to focus mainly on it, the book of 1 Cor 6:18 says “ Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body ” which brings to our understanding the magnitude of this sin.
QUESTIONS
What happens when a man, with a loving wife and wonderful children, after been married for years, cannot seem to get out of his mind the thoughts of the lady in his previous relationship before meeting his wife, even as ungodly as that relationship was, and he knowing in the depths of his heart that whenever and wherever he may come across the lady again, he will not be able to resist whatever may happen at that chanced meeting?
What happens when a teenager accidentally stumbles upon photos of women and men that is graphic in nature either, through the internet, television or the print media, and years after he becomes addicted to pornography and there seems to be no way out of the bondage?
What happens when a man or woman meets the perfect gentleman or lady at the shopping mall, bank or office with the perfect shape,physique,height or color, then he can’t help but have impure thoughts about that person, even when the person is long gone out of sight, or if the person is of close proximity, may be a neighbor , colleage,aquiantance, much more if the person has an interest in you and before you know it you just out of bed with the person and you regret it this time again?
What happens when trying to adjust to peer pressure a young girl enters into the world of fashion and the latest technological gadgets, whereby she is exposed to different kinds of lewd persons through her friends doing crazy things and stuffs which leads her into one abusive relationship to the other, because of her weakness when it comes to men, once they start talking her emotions takes another roller coaster ride?
What happens after a little girl of 12years experiments with sex and from that moment on she seem not to have enough of men, even after pregnancies and abortions, she knows she is going down a pit but there seem to be no way out?
Then what happens when you are alone in your room and your mind starts to wonder about all your sexual escapades those your were involved in or those you saw on the screen or in magazines and books, you know you are not supposed to think these way because you know the Lord, but you can’t stop because there seems to be a force or weight bringing it into your mind, even after pleading the blood of Jesus and resisting the devil, the pictures seem to become clearer and you even dread being alone which makes you one way or the other to act out your thoughts, you want to be free, you want to think freely when alone, but there seem to be now way out?
Then what happens when a man, woman, boy or girl feels sexual attraction towards somebody of the same sex, but because nobody could explain or understand what he/she was going through at that time, even the Church and because the urge was too overwhelming and having been encouraged by others, such a one is now involved in a lifestyle that he or she knows that before God is wrong, but because the Church nor the society proffers no way out of the bondage, this person is forced to succumb to this all too powerful sexual attraction to people of the same sex and there seems to be no way out?
These are everyday people, it may be you or someone you know who confided in you, we meet them in Churches praising God and God doesn’t love them less than he loves us, because I am a proof that He loves them and wants to set them free, which is the reason Jesus came. When it comes to sex in its various forms, it is like the senses take a leave and only concentrate on the subject matter, and all these happens outside of marriage, This is why I term it Sexual Insanity, because nobody does these things without an hint of regret after.
As I continue to dig out and unravel the problem before us, making us understand how real it is for us to deal with it, I will leave this scripture from Apostle Paul with you to think about, or identify with, till we come again on the second part of the topic.
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
